What is the Breakthrough CBA?
The Breakthrough CBA is the first installment of Opportunity DeKalb's Breakthrough Business Network - where urban and rural meet in the multicultural pursuit of the American Dream.
WHY
We believe that communities and individuals have a vision for a thriving future and the journey to realize that future needs breakthrough moments and companionship.
WHAT
A 12-week, cohort-based academy for new and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as early-stage businesses to cultivate community and build foundational business skills.
HOW
We develop relationships, learning opportunities, and community partnerships that move people from where they are to where they want to be for themselves, their families and their communities.
The Breakthrough CBA is designed to cover all the essential topics you need to know about running a business, such as budgeting, marketing, bookkeeping, cash flow analyses, pricing strategies, and credit building. You'll also get to put new skills to the test in three small business simulation classes, where you'll compete with other teams and learn even more about marketing and finance.
